a cinematic rebranding identity built on tension and unpredictability.
Project Description
This editorial design project is based on Twilight in the Forbidden City, exploring the palace’s architecture, paintings, enamels, and jade artifacts. The layout echoes the symmetry of imperial spaces while integrating modern typographic precision. Archival imagery and decorative motifs from the Palace Museum enhance each chapter’s rhythm, creating a reading experience that bridges dynastic memory and contemporary design.
